How to create a perfect gallery wall

Can you believe it? Baby sister is HERE! She has officially made her debut and we are beyond thrilled! It has been an insanely busy few months for us-especially with being pregnant and moving into a new house! Luckily we had more time for nesting this time around than we did with our last baby (ten days before delivery – never again!!!). Today I'm giving our first sneak peek into the nursery including a super duper easy hack of how to create the perfect gallery wall.

It's been so much fun decorating the nursery for the new baby to come home to! One of my most favorite things in it has got to be the Shutterfly gallery wall! The whole process is so SO easy so today I'm sharing seriously HOW easy it was to create the perfect gallery wall.

Seriously, it's so simple and painless! I absolutely love these adorable animal prints that I found in Shutterfly's Art Library! So cute, right? But if you don't find anything you love in their gallery it's also crazy easy to upload your own design. No matter which route you choose, you end up with a beautiful gallery quality print, and for me it was so easy to just pick 6 square frames, but if I had needed to cover a bigger wall I could've done 4 squares (two rows) or a taller wall I could've done 9 squares, but either way, I love that Shutterfly offers different sizes of the prettiest plain white frames that look flawless together.

Shutterfly has the most gorgeous frames to choose from! I chose these simple white ones, because I like to keep things light and bright and love the way they make the colors pop! I'm super happy with how they turned out!

One design tip that I got from my designer Tahni Hansen was that the gallery frames should fit within the furniture that they're placed above, so we cut out paper squares and placed them on the wall to be sure of how many frames we should order to have them measure just slightly smaller than the dresser.

The whole nursery has kind of a boho theme and I CANNOT wait to reveal the whole thing! To go with that theme I decided print out a picture from one of my maternity shoots at the Carlsbad Flower Fields. We loved littlest sis so much while she was on the inside and can't wait to love on her even more now that she's out!
