The going out outfit that made me actually go out

Topshop is one of my favorite brands to shop at Nordstrom. I love that they carry basics as well as trendy items that fit my body and my budget! Some of my most flattering and go-to pairs of jeans are Topshop. Any time a new season rolls around I get excited to see what Topshop comes out with, because I KNOW their pieces are always right on trend and wallet friendly!

Topshop High Waisted Black Jeans

These High Waisted Black Jeans are the updated version of one of my most worn pair of jeans. When I first told you about these simple but magical black distressed jeans, my readers were unanimous: there’s just something special about the fit and the style! This new version comes without the distressing so the clean, simple style can be dressed up or down!! And for $70, you can't lose. And by that I mean these jeans are literally WINNING. They hold you in, hit right at the belly button AND you can order them in different lengths! Be sure to size up!

Eyelet Ruffle Blouse

The eyelet detailing on this blouse caught my eye immediately! The cotton is lightweight and perfect for layering. The top is a little on the shorter side, so I paired it with the high waisted jeans for the ideal proportions!

Black Blazer

Blazers are so on-trend for fall and I was STOKED to try this Topshop one! I love that it elevates my jeans and blouse outfit to the perfect date night look. A blazer will be one of the MOST versatile pieces in your wardrobe as the weather cools down; throw it over a skirt, leather leggings or a sweater to try different styles!

Ankle Strap Heels

I love a minimalist shoe that is still a statement! The animal print brings some fun texture and visual interest to my outfit while still being neutral! I've seen snakeskin EVVVVERYWHERE lately so I love that you only have to drop $55 to get in on this trend with this shoe. This particular shoe is low stock, but here is a similar option!

Skinny White Button Down

Sometimes I like to get Neil out of his comfort zone, and this time I'm so glad I did! He usually shies away from fitted clothing, but we sized up to a XXL in this white button up and although still a skinny fit, the shirt looks amazing on him!

Skinny Chinos

Again, these Topman skinny chino pants were a slimmer fit than Neil is used to, but we were both so pleasantly surprised by their fit and overall style!

I really love that Topshop and Topman make it so affordable and accessible (hello, Nordstrom!) to buy clothes that are on trend! Classic clothes are a great wardrobe foundation, but when I want to add in a new seasonal look that won't break the bank, Topshop is my go-to.
