lyla’s nursery tour

One of the reasons we moved into our new house (10 days before Lyla was born!!) was to have a room for her when she came into our home.

When I had the opportunity to collaborate with Becki Owens on this nursery I was thrilled and couldn't wait to see all the magic she's created in other peoples' homes come to life in our home too. Everything she does is so beautiful, and Lyla's nursery was no exception.

This was such a different vibe than Ani's nursery, but I love the way it turned out! Still girly but more modern.

I wanted to save money in a couple places so instead of getting this rocker that I've wanted since I was pregnant with Ani (my first baby!) I opted to re-use the same cozy white glider we had with Ani. I'm actually super glad we did because it's SO comfy and I was pretty glad I had it for those late night feedings!

I also scoured the internet for a deal on a modern white dresser and found this one (available in 4 drawers only then, but now in 6 drawers for the same price!). I almost wanted to get this one instead, but glad Becki talked me out of it because it would've been too small for that wall.

I love how this room came together and how peaceful and sweet it is! It's for sure one of my favorite rooms to spend time in now.
