you guys know that i love kate spade. their brand is always so perfectly right-on with everything! but today i fell in love with them even more.
today kate spade new york launched their new collection: on purpose. they've reached out to a community of women in rwanda and made them the newest supplier to kate spade, teaching them how to use their skills to create a profitable business. they're hand stitching pom poms, sequins, totes, and hand-woven friendship bracelets that are being sold by kate spade.
i mean talk about really powerfully impacting a group of people. they're not just dropping off a supply of food and water and leaving, they're literally giving these women an opportunity to use their skills to create meaningful employment.
