Want to know a secret? I love white. Like a lot. I love it 365 days of the year. And I for sure don't believe in that silly old no white after Labor Day taboo! Wearing white in the winter is one of my very favorite things A.) because it's kind of unexpected in comparison to the all black everything we all love this time of year and B.) because sometimes in the winter things feel too dark and gloomy. Wearing light colors feels like Spring might just be around the corner which instantly make me happier!

Perfect for maternity

We shot this outfit back in December before my baby bump was really showing up, but the cut of this dress is actually perfect to wear pregnant because it has an elastic waistband that hits right above the belly! I've worn it to church a couple times recently and it's really comfy and cute with a baby bump.

Let's talk texture

Choosing a piece with texture is one of my favorite ways to do white in the winter. This dress with all the lace and sheer sleeves does texture beautifully. The maxi length and relaxed silhouette means this dress is super super comfortable, but the cinched in waist means it's also flattering. Two things that I'm all about. The semi-sheer sleeves make this dress perfect to wear long into spring!
