This outfit that I put together entirely from Nordstrom's wear to work women's category is totally affordable head-to-toe. I made sure everything I chose was within a reasonable price range, because I know for the working woman it can be hard to find pieces you can wear over and that aren't robbing you of every penny you're making at your job!
And since I get many, many requests from my working girl readers, and since it's been quite a while since we did a round up just for you, I wanted to give you the best selection of Nordstrom's women's skirts and dresses for you to shop quickly and easily, on your lunch break or after a long day at work when you've kicked your heels off and you're curled up with a blanket and some Chip and JoJo.
I love how flattering and modest this ruffle shirt dress is. I could wear this to a business meeting, a Spring brunch, a baby shower, a wedding, to church, anywhere where I want to feel like I'm totally comfortably, conservatively dressed. Because there's nothing more uncomfortable (for me!) than showing up to something that I want to feel relaxed at, than to spend the entire time worrying about my skirt riding up or my v neck creeping a little lower than I thought it would. Ha!
I paired it with one of these staple Halogen cardigans that are cozy and fit perfectly. They come in TONS of colors; I'm wearing heather oatmeal.
These pumps are DREAMY. If you can believe this, my mom basically never wears heels this high anymore, but she bought these when I was with her a couple weeks ago and raved about the cushion in the bottom and how truly, legitimately comfy they were, so oooooobviously I had to copy her! We like to match, not on purpose, but we'll show up to things and be wearing the same thing. It's weird. And funny. But this time it was on purpose.
