It's such a fun place to go when you first find out you're having a baby, or when you're preparing to finally meet that little bundle you've been waiting to see in real life. And once that baby grows up a little, who doesn't enjoy watching their baby point to something and fall in love with a little toy right before their eyes?!
Today I'm gonna walk you through some of the reasons we LOVE BuyBuy BABY, and some of our very favorite tried and true products that I'm pretty certain you'll love just as much as I do.
The experience
There's a couple of different ways to explore a buybuy BABY, depending on your needs! We went straight to the registry (which does NOT have to be for first time parents!), to get help and advice as we shopped for Millie. The store caters to mamas who are pregnant, all the way through to a four-year-old toddler!
The baby industry grows INSANELY fast and there's always something new and improved to try with each kid! So whether your high chair isn't accommodating your third child like it did your first, or you now need a double stroller instead of a single, buybuy BABY makes it SO easy to navigate all the early phases of a child's life.
But if you have something specific in mind that you know you need; you can totally go straight to that section to see a plethora of options! There's always an expert in every area waiting to help with any questions, WHICH I LOVE. Good customer service is one of my love languages!
Favorite Products
I picked up this boppy cover as we strolled the aisles because I'm pretty sure it was the very first thing I ever purchased from buybuy BABY. Oh, the memories of first-time pregnancy!!
My middle and youngest babies have both been COMPLETELY obsessed with these ComoTomo bottles. They legit feel like a boob, and I think for a breastfed baby they're worth every penny. They're also the EASIEST to clean with their super wide tops, so you don't need some special bottle brush to get these suckers clean!
And one of our MOST favorite finds of pregnancy and baby number three: the Dockatot! Millie slept like a little angel in this thing, and my girls STILL love to lounge in the large-sized one. It's not necessarily a MUST HAVE if you're really trying to just get the bare essentials, but I would definitely rank it super high on my list of luxury faves for bringing baby home!
All three of my girls have loved these little teethers! Dogs must love them too because I think Winnie got ahold of Millie's. We got her a couple of new ones while at buybuy BABY and she was so excited to go back to chewing on these cute little toys!
My favorite part of this buybuy BABY experience is being able to have the expert show me new products that I haven't heard about, or how to use something I've only seen in the packaging, like this suction food mat for high chairs! The experts have a world of information at the ready, like the differences between sound machines, which one is most often returned, and what has the highest ratings!
How CUTE are these soft utensils and bowl?! We love a little attitude in our products, so I HAD to get them for Millie!
Perfect baby shower gifts
I actually put together a little baby shower basket with some of my favorite tried and true registry items from buybuy BABY, plus several things that the expert suggested! Like I mentioned earlier, these Comotomo bottles are a HUGE hit with my breastfed babies, and I feel like the ease of cleaning is worth it for all parents! Also, this Baby Shusher is the greatest thing to have in your diaper bag! It's small and compact and can be placed right inside a car seat or stroller to help shush the baby to sleep. And, of course, the Aden and Anais burpy bib is genius. It can be a burp cloth OR a bib and is the perfect absorbent material! I ALWAYS have one of these in my diaper bag.
They even carry toys!
If you guys watch my IG stories, you know that several times a week we go out front to watch the kids ride bikes and scooters! It's one of my girls’ very favorite things to do together. Now that Millie is a little older, she felt left out of the fun, so we got her this darling Mercedes-Benz push car! Millie is OBSESSED, and Neil is maybe a little disappointed that he doesn't fit in it ha. I love that buybuy BABY carries toys as well, so I can easily grab new fun things as my kids get to different stages of life.

I was in HEAVEN walking around buybuy BABY, trying out new things and engrossing myself in new products! One-stop-shopping is my very favorite kind, so this was right up my alley. I’m so impressed with not only the variety of products, but how trained and knowledgeable the staff is about ALL THINGS BABY!
I love that if you register at buybuy BABY, one of their helpful experts can walk around the store with you and find the right stroller, car seat, and even crib set up for YOU. Are you an outdoorsy mom who wants to take her baby running and on hikes? Or are you a carpool warrior that will be spending hours behind the wheel and you need your stroller to be super slim? Do you live in a house where the baby will have its own room, or are you going to be co-sleeping with your babe? Are you planning to travel a lot once your little one comes? They'll take all of this into account and help you find the perfect gear for you, your family, and your lifestyle.
They also have an app you can download that makes managing your registry sooooo easy! You can scan things in store to add to your registry or easily take them off if someone drops a gift by your house. I would have LOVED this when I was registering for Anabelle back in 2012.
