Happy Blursday, you guys! Because I honestly have no idea what day it is and I'm only mostly sure that it's April. Same? At this point we're just trying to really focus on all the good news and the silver linings and today we are really excited to share a MEGA silver lining. Disney revealed their OFFICIAL Dole Whip recipe! We. Are. Pumped.
I'm collaborating with my sister, Female Foodie, today to make this simple simple but super yummy Dole Whip Disney treat. Every day of quarantine Brooke has been doing an Instagram Live of restaurant inspired recipes and we have been drooling right along!
The Dole Whip recipe is up on Female Foodie, I'm sharing my top three best blenders here, and then we're going to meet on Instagram to use those blenders and make the Dole Whips together today at 1 p.m. pacific time! The Breakdown
High: Blendtec blender
Best overall, but priciest
This is our family's tried and true very favorite blender. We use our Blendtec to make everything from milkshakes to soups to homemade baby food to açaí bowls to my green smoothie milkshake fake. If you've never checked out Blendtec's Will It Blend videos on YouTube, they are absolutely epic. This blender will totally blend an iPhone so you know it's going to blend all your things like a dream!
I have owned a couple of Blendtec blenders, and the exact one Brooke will be using for her Dole Whips is their top of the line most professional series. You can snag that exact one for $320-which is $260 off the retail price like I mentioned above.
Blendtec blenders last FOREVER, so I absolutely think they are worth your pennies. We had a Classic for SEVEN years that we gave away to a single mom we did a master bedroom makeover for a few years ago. When we gave it away it still worked perfectly, and our current Blendtec is SIX years old. We have done almost 1000 blends with our Blendtec and we're still obsessed.
If you want to invest in a super nice blender that will last you FOREVER, THIS is the one.
Middle: Ninja Nutri blender
High quality, budget buy
The Ninja Nutri blender is small but mighty. If you're looking for a multi-functional blender that is UNDER $100, this one will knock your socks off at just $79.99 (reg $99).
I've been mega obsessed with this little baby blender since I started eating clean last January. With all the protein shakes that we make in this house now, the Ninja is the key to ease!
I LOVE that I can measure out the ingredients right on the side of the jar. It's perfect that the top and bottom are dishwashers safe and small enough to actually throw into my dishwasher without taking up like 1/3 of the entire dishwasher unlike our huge Blendtec jar. It works super duper well and the consistency is amazing!
Low: Immersion blender
Least expensive, easiest to store
This immersion blender is the very best inexpensive and easiest to store option. You could take this blender on vacation with you or send it with a kid to college. Mine is on sale currently for $29.95 it's super affordable, tiny, and totally amazing. Lots of other highly rated options here too for immersion blenders around the same price point!
I pull my immersion blender out ALL time time and I know you will too! I busted it out the other day because I really wanted a strawberry milkshake but our other blenders had already been used that day and were dirty. So I busted out this baby and whipped up a milkshake IN the cup I was going to drink out of. It blends all of the things and just works like dream.
This blender is the soup and gravy master ninja extraordinaire! It's super low mess and makes your soups and gravies creamy and perfect. It's such a good way to sneak vegetables into soup so your kids will gobble it up! You can also use it for pasta sauces, whipped cream, pesto, and homemade salad dressings!
The functionality, the price point, and ease of storage make this blender a win-win-WIN for everyone!
