it's my last morning in mexico and i'm so sad about it! i've really enjoyed waking up before everyone else and blogging with the sunrise and then taking the rest of the day off to enjoy family, beach, pool time, sun, and lots of chips & guac. i'm planning on a post soon with some of my beach vaca faves but for today here's a quick post on a casual friday outfit that we shot before we left california last week!
this batwing sleeve knit sweater is soft, cozy and pretty warm with the turtleneck top. it was a little chilly the morning i got up and put this outfit together but by the time we were out for lunch that day i was sweating! so what i'm getting at is, it's a warmer sweater than it looks. and bonus, it's on sale for $25!
these maternity jeans are super comfy and have a great stretch to them. they come in regular jeans too if you're not sporting a bump. oddly enough, i think the wash is way more like how they appear in the regular jean stock photo than the maternity stock photo. not a big deal but an observation that i definitely made when they came in the mail! they run true to size.
these yosi samra booties are my new go-to. for denim, dresses, any semi-casual to semi-dressy outfit pretty much looks cute with these. and they are cushioned at the bottom so when i was just getting off my crutches/knee scooter and walking these were some of the most comfy non-athletic shoes i had to make that transition. seriously highly recommend them and love them like i love my yosi samra ballet flats!
lastly, i cannot even tell you how many compliments i've gotten on these bright pink ray-ban mirrored sunnies. they're for sure more of a pink than a purple even though they are listed as purple, and i've only been able to find them online here. i have the true pink ray ban mirrored sunglasses and those are really cute but more of a subtle pink. these bright pink mirrored ray ban sunnies are really fun and you don't see them often at all so i really love that!

Okay — so what IS the deal with sheinside? I’ve looked through their sure before and found endless amounts of cute items at crazy prices. But then I googled some reviews and the majority of women out there are saying DO NOT ORDER and IT IS A SCAM. Some not receiving orders, some orders not arriving until months later, items being cheaply made, and even some getting rude emails from their customer service. What has your experience with sheinside been?
i’m so sorry to hear that! i have only ordered from them once and had no issues, but i’ll definitely keep this in mind for future posts. thanks for telling me!
Very interesting. I’m genuinely curious about how they do business, because their stuff seems so darn great. From the sound of Lindsay’s comment, there’s a game of chance involved. Anyway, I’m glad your order worked out for the best because the sweater is too cute with your baby bump!
And I must add! ..the hot pink raybans are PERFECTION. Strangely, I went to hunt down your pair of more neutral pink mirror raybans and was unsuccessful, but ended up buying the hot pinks instead! I’m so in love with them and you’re right, almost nobody has them it seems! Cheers! Xo
LOVE the booties!!
Im confused about the shipping on sheinside.com. It shows “free shipping and returns no minimum” but once you go to check out it says “free shipping on items over $99” ??
i don’t know why they do that, it’s totally confusing. i’m sorry!
If you ever find those Ray Ban’s on sale I hope you post it here – they are FAB!
okay i will!
I have ordered from sheinside before and you have to be careful, some of the stuff is high quality and some of it is garbage. I have a couple really cute tops from there but also a couple not so cute…And if I remember correctly, some stuff ships from china so it’s super inconvenient and expensive to return ( I eneded up donating my return to goodwill because it cost more to ship it back than the actual cost of the item).
yikes, good to know! i’ve only ordered once from them and had no problem but it’s good to know and i’ll definitely keep that in mind for future posts, thanks!
your bump is so cute! so glad you get a little vaca with your family!

I would really love to see a post on details about your vacation! My husband and I are trying to find somewhere to go in the next few months as a baby moon. Thank you!
