Skin Prep
tarte released some really awesome skincare that I had a chance to try before this post and I really liked it!
I love the way the Rainforest of the Sea Deep Sea Collagen Super Serum feels when I use it on my skin at night or under my foundation. It's a blend of 8 oils and antioxidants that protect your skin, along with a side of vegan marine plant collagen for an extra boost!

TBH the first time I tried this foundation I didn't love it! And this time around I realized why: I was using the wrong color! Once I used tarte's color matching chart, I found the perfect match and now I'm obsessed; thi stuff looks SO good on my skin. Super natural and effortless and totally that “no makeup” makeup look.

But what even is that? It's nature's ingredient for a longer, truer wear in makeup. This ensures a better color match and all-day wear! I've been loving using this as a daytime (it has SPF 15!) alternative to a heavier foundation. I love how it feels and wears, especially in warmer weather.
Shape Tape Glow
The glow wand is like a highlighter meets concealer, aaaaand it's easily my favorite tarte product of 2021. Plus it has the shape tape stamp of approval! It has diamond powder and porcelain flower in it to create a flawless, soft focus finish with a hint of illumination. The ingredients instantly help brighten, smooth & give the skin a firmer, more lifted look, and I love that it won't flake or crease throughout the day.
ALSO when I demonstrated this on my stories a couple months ago, my DMs exploded with people asking, “WHAT IS THAT!?!?!” and “WHERE CAN I GET IT?!”
This has been a go-to of mine for the last year; I love to use it as a lightweight concealer or on the high planes of my face (bridge of the nose, forehead, inner eyes, cheekbones) to highlight! My favorites are the colors “dream” (champagne glow) and “aglow” (rose glow). Both are suuuuper pretty and very brightening without being a disco ball!

Face Tape Foundation
When I first tried this Face Tape Foundation out I had high hopes that it would be as amazing as my beloved shape tape. I'm so happy to report it is absolutely everything you want it to be and MORE. The coverage is gorgeous and it 100% stays all day. It is a waterproof, sweat-proof, and transfer-proof full coverage foundation that doesn't feel like a full coverage foundation. Pair it with any shape tape concealer and your skin will appear literally flawless!
Quickie Blending Sponge
I am a total convert to tarte cosmetics sponges. I have tried allllll the makeup sponges, and let me tell you: tarte's are hands-down the best!!! There is a flat side and a curved side (which is genius) and they are amazing quality so they LAST!!

The Breezy Cream Blush is a super easy way to get a natural flush with a tap of your fingers or brush! It's so moisturizing, totally buildable AND reduces the appearance of pores. I tend to lean towards cream or liquid blushes because the staying power always seems superior to powder, and this cream is no exception. Plus the color (berry bliss) literally looks like the perfect, natural pinch-of-the-cheeks!
Ultra-Creamy Liner
The ultra-creamy Surfer Curl Waterproof Gel Liner in Bronze is the perfect alternative to harsher black liner when you're not wearing as much makeup in the spring and summer! Its staying power is second to none and is super easy to apply.
Lip Lover
I love the Maracuja Juicy Lip for a lip treatment that is also a gloss! It's not just a lip color, it's a treatment packed with antioxidants, moisturizing ingredients and goji to help collagen production. Our lips are one of the first places we lose volume as we age, so any help I can get in that arena I will gladly take. I also LOOOOOVE the new Maneater Plumping Lip Gloss (featured in the video below in the color pink pearl!). I seriously couldn't believe how plump my lips looked after using it!
