Just a few more days and July's already here! I'm so excited because the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. Fireworks, BBQs, swimming, USA – there's no better combo!

I love our house the most on two different occasions: Christmas and the 4th of July. Just something about American flags and summer days is sooo magical. Over here, we’re already decked out in full celebration mode with all the red, white, and blue! I got most of our 4th of July decorations at a small boutique a while back, but I found super similar decor from The Home Depot so you can recreate this 4th of July look! OH, and did I mention for way less?

A classic, traditional American Flag is a huge focal point when it comes to 4th of July decorations! If you don’t have one, The Home Depot sells both 4 ft. x 6 ft. AND 5 ft. x 8 ft. flags to find the perfect fit for your home.

It’s ALWAYS nice to have an extra American Flag on hand to put up for Independence Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, etc. I’m telling you, it WILL come in handy!

Wreath

I LOVE the touch that this red, white, and blue wreath adds to my door! I found a similar one from The Home Depot and it’s super cute. 

Bunting Flags

Every 4th of July, I put up these bunting flags on our second story’s balconies, and I absolutely love them. If you have a balcony or ledge you’re wanting to put some bunting on, I found these ones from The Home Depot that are almost identical to what I got. AND they’re only $32 which is a lot more affordable than the ones I originally found!

PSA: If you’re putting up bunting, MEASURE your surface before you buy! When we originally put our bunting flags up, we found that 2 flags was too short for our ledge but 3 was too long… so we decided to get 3 and overlap them a little! Aka choose MORE than less if the flags don’t measure exactly the length of your ledge and overlap.

And a lil assembling tip: ZIP TIES. Using zip ties to secure these flags to the railings makes things so much easier and provides a super clean look!

Summertime sippin’

ALL year long I use my blender to make smoothies, protein shakes – you know, allll the fun drinks. Well, this summer I'm OBSESSED with making my frozen lemonade! It’s been a go-to and it’s soo easy to make, especially using my Blendtec blender.
