anabelle’s land of nod bedroom makeover

When we set out to remake Anabelle's bedroom from a nursery to a big girl bedroom with a big girl bed, I honestly wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. And if it were up to Ani we would have decorated everything in Frozen blankets and Frozen wallpaper and Frozen window treatments (if there even is such a thing!). I did know I wanted it to be bright and happy and playful, and so Land of Nod seemed like the perfect fit to collaborate with on a bedroom makeover.

But I still needed help, because I'm terrible at this type of thing. I've grounded myself from buying large pieces of furniture without consulting my wildly talented friend, Jen from House Collected. Because Jen just knows. She “gets me” with finding a deal, but also buying things that will last. She has impeccable taste and I knew that putting this project into her hands would be a recipe for perfection. And I was right.

As you can see, this fits my spunky crazy Ani's personality perfectly. It's whimsical, happy, bright, fun and more dreamy than I could have hoped for.
