Fave travel beauty products & why Billie razors are #1

Ahh Hawaii – we just got home a couple of days ago from my favorite place to escape and transport into another world at another time (the North Shore in Oahu) and I already want to go back. We had an amazing time and today I’m super excited to share my drugstore travel beauty essentials from Walmart (if you're wondering from the title – YES, Billie razors are a “drugstore” product now!) that I brought on the trip with me that left my skin beach & pool ready.

Let’s jump into what’s in my travel beauty rotation & why I recommend all of these drugstore products!

BEST razor EVER

I’ve been loving Billie razors since 2019 – I was introduced to them years ago and I’ve since kept them on auto-ship because they’re THAT good. So, you can only imagine my excitement when I saw that Billie razors are finally available somewhere as convenient as Walmart!!!

I love Billie’s Malibu starter kit that comes with a handle, two blade refills, and the magnetic holder for UNDER $10. This is the perfect kit to try Billie for the first time in case you’re hesitant on making the switch.

The magnetic backing allows the razor to hang in your shower and it’s easy to remove if you want to take it on trips like I do, OR you can grab the separate travel case for UNDER $5! I’m also obsessed with the new whipped shaving cream made with coconut oil and aloe for less than $8. You’re going to fall in love with the fresh lavender and bergamot scent and get such a close shave!

The ONLY thing I've been absolutely crushed over forgetting at home on trips in the past 3 years is my Billie razor. Anything else – toothpaste, dry shampoo, you name it – I can pick up at a drugstore and be set. But literally nothing even comes close to comparing to Billie. NOTHING! I'm so glad that's not the case anymore now that it's available at Walmart!

Even Neil agrees with me… he’ll be shaving his face and he always steals my Billie razor from me! It’s so funny, but he says he likes it wayyyy more than other men’s razors.

Billie has amazing quality, cute color design, and easy disposable razor heads that make it my #1 razor of all time!

How to get bronzed skin minus the sun damage

I’m also obsessed with the entire b.tan line from Walmart like so many others who made this favorite product of mine sell out!

You glow girl face & body mist is one of the BEST gradual face and body self-tanners. You can mist a little on your face every day which is perfect if you’re anything like me and ALWAYS wear sunscreen and keep your face covered (which is the best thing you can do for anti-aging, btw).

Other b.tan products I’m loving that are stocked up and UNDER $10 are the self tanning mousse, Just Act Natural self tan mousse, washable and reusable tanning mitt, back tan applicator mitt, and the disco candy tan.

The disco one hour self tan is really nice if you’re looking for quick results. In Hawaii, I put this on before heading to breakfast one day then came back and rinsed off before heading to the pool. The disco candy tan with the b.tan mitt gives a flawless bronze glow and exfoliates!

If you want a little more of a natural look, try the Just Act Natural mousse – it’s water based and doesn’t ruin your bedsheets (hallelujah)!! This clear mousse is a must-have product for me all summer long.

Heatless beach waves and a fun sundress

Lately, my best beauty secret has been putting my hair in a braid overnight! Once I get up I use my Hairitage Catch the Wave Deep Waver Crimping Iron for a tiny bit of touch up on the top layer.

I’ve tried a ton of wavers and the Hairitage by Mindy is UNDER $40 and my favorite! Whenever I use this people always ask for a tutorial or product info!

At home or on the road, I always reach for my tinted dry shampoo, too! I use the Hairitage Brunette's Day Off Tinted Dry Shampoo which is UNDER $8, but you can also go for no tint if you don’t have dark roots like me.

For such a good price, this product does an amazing job with refreshing my hair with volume and making it look healthy.

I’m so glad Walmart carries so many of my favorite beauty brands – even Native deodorant which I’ve been loving for a long time as an all-natural deodorant that ACTUALLY WORKS! And smells good too.

It makes such a difference when all your go-to products are in one place.

You also CAN.NOT. sleep on Walmart’s clothing selection! I love love love this mini ruffle sundress for only $28. It comes in several colors and has me feeling ready for lots of summer days. And this cute color block straw bag – I carried it EVERYWHERE in Hawaii! It's $12.99 right now and I'm tempted to buy it in the mint color block too!! Also, this white cap fits SO comfortably, comes in 9 different colors, and the best part? It's only $5!!!

Lastly, these sandals have been tried and true beach faves for EVER for me, and I love that I can pick up a pair at Walmart too!

Whether you’re packing for a trip like me, or just trying to stock up on some reliable & affordable essentials…Walmart is THE place you should be checking first! Especially now that they carry such amazing brands like Billie razors and Hairitage by Mindy… I'm super impressed with what I can get all in one place now, along with super cute clothes, and even some groceries!
