It's starting to feel more and more like spring every day in Southern California, but when we were in Scottsdale last week for our team retreat it was freezing cold. So winter coats are 100% still a thing that's happening. Especially my very favorite teddy coats that can totally transition into spring (and maybe even summer nights too).
Today we're highlighting my two very FAVE coats this winter (one of which is currently 40% off and a MEGA steal) and rounding up all the cutest and very best winter coats on the internet.
Faux Fur Fangirl
I am legitimately obsessed with this super cozy winter coat. It has 20 nearly perfect 5-star reviews. This coat is long and soft and warm enough to keep you very comfortable but it's not heavy AT ALL. It is very lightweight and the material is so soft and cuddly. Honestly, it feels like I am wearing a Saranoni blanket as a coat. Anytime I wear this coat my girls want to cuddle up to me for a little snuggle fest-especially Millie!
Because it's so lightweight this coat makes an amazing layering piece. It is also the ideal coat for travel because it's not too bulky. It could easily fit in a carry-on if you needed something to wear on a chilly plane or wanted a coat that won't take up a ton of real estate in your suitcase.
Out of all my coats, I have probably worn this one the very most this winter. It has been my absolute go-to winter coat. Thankfully it won't have to stop being my favorite coat come spring because it's THE perfect lightweight transition piece. There's a super good chance you'll even catch me in it on cooler summer evenings!
This coat runs slightly large, so if you are between sizes I recommend sizing down. I bought my regular size and this coat still fits me-even with the ginormous belly-and most of my other coats don't.
Neutral Favorites
I paired both coats with my all-time favorite maternity jeans and a classic white v-neck tee. I am a massive fan of high-quality wardrobe staples that you can wear over and over and over again.
Maternity Jeans
I did a roundup of top 10 maternity pieces last summer and these jeans made the list because they're THAT good. The jeans are extremely comfy and have an amazing stretch without feeling like your bum is sagging by the end of the day. They do run true to size too, so order the size you normally would.
Tried & true tee
This white v-neck tee is maternity but when I'm not pregnant the tee from this post is a tried a true favorite. The maternity version is super affordable at UNDER $28 (some sizes and colors are UNDER $20) 118 perfect or nearly perfect reviews.
Totally Fierce Feet
Leopard was such a hot trend this fall and winter (and always and forever for me!). I love pairing super neutral pieces with a little pop of color or animal print to mix it up and add some interest. I'm sad to say these leopard print booties are sold out in almost every size, but these are a similar, equally cute pair.
Five Star Stunner Coat
This teddy coat just went on sale for 40% off and I absolutely recommend adding it to your cart. It has all PERFECT reviews and it's now just $100! I discovered this winter coat on our last trip to New York and it is like putting on a thick warm blanket and wearing it around everywhere.
It's so warm and so incredibly comfortable that it felt like a crime-like I shouldn't be able to get away with wearing something so dreamy and blanket-like! I was freezing on that trip to NY and looking for a warm coat and this was absolutely the ticket.
Bonus: it's super cute too! Teddy coats are so IN this year. I have worn it a ton this season and it still looks absolutely perfect. This coat also runs a little large so you'll want to size down one size. 40% off is such an insanely good deal for such a super amazing winter coat.
The Ultimate Knee High Boot
Remember these slightly slouchy boots from our fall sweater dress roundup? If you loved them, hopefully you snagged some because Chrissy Teigan wore them and now they're sold out EVERYWHERE on the internet!
We'll keep an eye out for a restock and keep you posted because they're such a great, versatile boot. In the meantime, here's a similar pair I've had my eyes on and such a perfect winter to spring transition boot.
Cuddly Coats Forever
I am totally in love with BOTH of these winter coats because they feel like wearing a blanket, which is so my jam. The tan is a little more lightweight and travels super well, but if you live in a colder climate and need something a little more heavy duty the blue-grey teddy coat would be my recommendation.
Per usual, we rounded up all the cutest and very best winter coats to add to your wardrobe right now. See them all below!
