Dewy makeup look to try this summer!

Dewy makeup is absolutely all the rage right now and I am 100% onboard! I am all about healthy, glowing, dewy skin and bronzed cheeks in the summertime. I decided to challenge myself to complete this dewy beauty look using ZERO powder products and stick strictly to moisturizing products for a super fresh face that just screams summer! SKINCARE

YOUTH ACTIVATING CONCENTRATE: Before any good makeup look must come good SKINCARE! I started with Lancome's Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate. This paraben-free serum works to increase signs of youth, and I love using it under makeup because its active ingredients protect my skin's moisture barrier! You totally don't have to use this exact serum, any good serum or moisturizer that will quench your dry skin will do.

CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE: Moisture surge eye 96-hour hydro-filler concentrate is an amazing under-eye product, especially for the price point of $34! I've been using it on repeat all summer because the moisture index is completely NEXT LEVEL! In the summer I need that extra surge of hydration, especially if I'm using a fuller-coverage concealer.

MAKEUP

PEARL PRIMER: After prepping my skin with some age defying ingredients, I used the Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional Pearl Primer to start off on the right dewy note. This has a glowy sheen and moisture element to it that the original Benefit POREfessional doesn't have, but with all the same priming properties and I am HERE FOR IT. Serious love for this brand new product.

FOUNDATION: NARS Sheer Glow Foundation is perfect for making all my dewy dreams come true. If I'm looking for light-medium coverage that feels weightless and has that lit-from-within quality, I use THIS!

BEAUTY SPONGE: beautyblender Pro Makeup Sponge Applicator If you know me you know that the beautyblender sponge applicator is one of my MUST HAVE makeup products! I rely on it for buffing out my foundation, stippling on liquid blush or highlighter, and for setting powder under my eyes!

CONCEALER: I was so impressed with the Tarte Creaseless Undereye Concealer! It gave good coverage without being drying, which is probably one of my worst makeup pet peeves. Please cover my under-eye circles without aging me pleaseandthankyou!

EYESHADOW: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette OKAY you caught me! I DID use ONE powder product, but it was because my vision of this look included this beautiful rose gold hue!! I swept the shade “Turn On” right across my lids and that's it for my eyes!

BRONZER: Nars Laguna Liquid Bronzer I LOVE this bronzer! The color is iconic, and I feel like the liquid formulation is actually EASIER to contour with because you are able to get more precise than you can with powder! It's a GREAT option if you're trying to stay away from powder products to create an au naturel summer makeup look!

BLUSH: Ever since I can remember venturing out of my drugstore makeup bubble, I have LOVED Benefit posie tint. This little bottle will last you forEVER, and, despite the nail polish-esque applicator it is really user-friendly! I like to put the tint directly onto a fluffy blush brush and blend in circles to get the perfect natural flush! You can also use it with the beauty blender by tapping gently onto the apples of your cheeks and blending upwards toward your temples. It's currently sold out at Macy's but I have an equal LOVE for this liquid blush!!

HIGHLIGHTER: Benefit Cosmetics high beam liquid face highlighter is best used when tapped on with fingers or a beauty blender on the high planes of your face (top of cheekbones, cupid's bow, bridge of the nose, and forehead!). It gives an all-over glow that is totally buildable!

EYEBROW POMADE: I cannot say enough good things about the Sourcils Gel Waterproof Eye Gel Cream. For summertime when the living is easy but the humidity is high, THIS is my go-to. I always use it in Taupe (#3)!

BROW MASCARA. This brow mascara has fibers in it that mimic the look of hair while still keeping my brows in place! It's a MUST HAVE for brow lovers.

LIPS: I used the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Naked Cream to add a little pop of color to my otherwise monochromatic look! This formulation has 1,600 near-perfect reviews and I know it's because of the pigment-rich shades and “butter blend” that provides a crazy amount of moisture! (You had me at BUTTER.)

For gloss, I applied L'Absolu Lip Lacquer in Beige Aura. This buildable lip gloss has a shine that literally lasts HOURS. If I want to sport a super glossy lip that won't fade away, THIS is my go-to!

MASCARA: Clinique High Impact Mascara defines every lash with its rich pigment and volumizing properties! I have lash extensions, but this is a great option to add some drama to my bottom lashes as well, and it's always my suggestion for anyone who asks for an affordable BUT AMAZING department store mascara!

MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY: I was so pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this! It really provided the makeup longevity that I crave, especially in the summer! It has almost 600 near-perfect reviews and it's the BEST deal that I used for this look at only $6!

MAKEUP BRUSHES

EYEBROW BRUSH: Lancome Sourcils Gel Dual-End Eyebrow Brush
The triangle shaped end of this brush works better than ANY other eyebrow brush I've EVER tried! It creates the best eyebrow shape so effortlessly!

PERFECTION BRUSH: It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Brush #7 I use this to apply my foundation. Fun Fact: if you use a fluffy brush with a liquid product you get MORE coverage versus applying it with a traditional synthetic foundation brush. I love that brushes provide options within the same product!
