Corrine StokoeAll winter I dream of beach days, and they're FINALLY sneaking up on us!! Summer is just around the corner and I can literally feel it every time I step outside.
A few weeks ago I was getting the girls all ready for their first swim lesson of the year. They were so excited to hop back in the water and splash around! As they tugged last year's swimsuits on, though, we realized they were too small. I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner! I ran to kohls.com as soon as I could to get them all stocked up for the summer, and while I was there, I grabbed swimwear for me and Neil, too. Everything was priced so reasonably, I just had to! There's something so exciting about my whole family in fresh swimwear.
The girls went bananas for these ruffled rainbow one-pieces. I've been hoping and praying they love to match for as long as possible because I just think it's so cute! I feel like there's no such thing as too many swimsuits, so I also got them each a suit with flamingo details. I loved the sweet details on each one! They're so girly and fun, especially with the ruffles and ties above the legs. As a finishing touch I picked out classic white cover-ups with rainbow tassels, which look cute even if we have to run a couple errands on the way home from the beach or pool.
I love the scalloped edges on this maternity one-piece. It's got the perfect amount of coverage so I feel comfortable chasing my girls around and splashing in the water without worrying about a bathing suit malfunction! I prefer to keep swimwear accessories simple and classic, and at less than $15, I couldn't resist these Lauren Conrad sandals and sunglasses. I also love looking for flowing kimonos to use as a pool cover-up. They're lightweight in the sun, and I think the sheer and billowy material feels elegant even when I have wet hair and sand all over my legs!
My girls love searching for heart rocks at the beach to give to me. so Ani was super excited to find this one in the sand and show it to baby sister!
I really liked the Men's Trinity line for Neil. They had great options at an incredible price point (less than $20!), so it was really easy to get him ready for summer with suits and sandals he's excited to wear.
