Go-to fall outfit #1: dressy look

This outfit is so cute, and we love that it gives a fresh feel for a more dressed up fall outfit! It’s not your typical sweater dress – which we totally love btw, but this just feels different! If you have any type of occasion that you need to look a bit more elevated, this is the look. The fabric and structure of this dress is SO unique and honestly really flattering. You can’t go wrong with either color option but the brown shade is so good for fall. The structure of the shoulder is what really sets this dress apart. It creates a really flattering shape for lots of different body types, drawing the eye up the neckline and shoulder, almost like an hourglass figure but for our shoulders. We also love that dresses make such easy one-and-done pieces in your closet, so whenever you’re feeling that thought creep up (why does it feel like I have nothing to wear)…this dress is the answer and deserves a permanent spot in your wardrobe. Accessories and shoes really make all the difference in completing your fall outfit and are also a fun way to change up the feel of an outfit. It also helps get you more mileage out of the dress when you change up the look with your accessories! But for this outfit, we’re loving these understated ankle strap sandals. Since this is more of a statement dress, a simple shoe that gives height and doesn’t compete with the main event is what we would suggest. These shoes are classic and go with sooo many outfits. Plus if you’re in a warmer climate and sandals are the most practical option for you, these fit the bill perfectly. 

Finish off this dressy fall outfit with a classic chain link, quilted purse that looks so similar to a spendier designer bag (ahem Chanel). We love that the strap converts from a shoulder strap to a crossbody option, so depending on the occasion you can transition the bag a couple of different ways that works for your outfit and needs. The gold hardware helps to elevate this bag and brings warmth to an otherwise neutral outfit. These leggings are great for lounging in, they’re perfect for hitting the gym, they do it all. We LOVE the hidden zipper detail, perfect for stashing a key in when you go out for a walk and don’t want to bring a bag with.
