The red lipstick that looks good on EVERYONE

Red lipstick used to scare me half to death. And anytime someone said, “oh no, just try it! I bet you'd love it.” I would tell them, “I will try it, and I will look like a clown.” And sure enough, I'd put it on (in whatever shade they were convinced was going to work) and whoever had tried convincing me to wear red lipstick would be like, “oh umm yeah, maybe not your color.” HA. And then, this beautiful magical perfect red lipstick for everyone came along and entered my life.

MAC makes the most beautiful, perfect, looks good on everyone red lipstick called Russian Red. I don't quite know what the wizards over in the MAC lab did but the pigment of this red is seriously just right, and it flatters anyone. Blonde. Brunette. Black hair, gray hair, fair skinned, dark skin, anyone in between. MAC Russian Red is the most perfect red lipstick I have ever tried.

My friend Natalie who sang on broadway for years even told me after I finally discovered this lipstick “oh Russian Red is what all the broadway girls wear!”

I thought I'd show you guys this perfect red lipstick with a little 4th of July outfit. This red and white stripe shirt was a little bit of a splurge but so cute and super lightweight for these heat waves we've been having!

My tote is on SERIOUS SALE for $32 instead of $48 and as far as affordable totes go it's the best ever. I blogged about it multiple times over the past year in various shades because I love it that much!

Chuck Taylors are always a good go-to with a clean, casual outfit like this one. They run pretty big so size down a half size!

And these jeans. THESE JEANS. Another “these look good on everyone” total win. Distressed in just the right places. Just enough stretch to fit well but not so much that they don't hold their shape. Perfectly true to size. They're honestly the best white jeans I've bought in 3 years.
