A major misconception we had about living by the beach prior to moving to Southern California was that it's always warm. So FALSE! It's actually almost always chilly here at night. It doesn't matter if it's July and it was 90 degrees during the day. If it's after 6PM and you're anywhere near the ocean, “Hello hoodie!”–even on date night! Which let's be honest, we both secretly love!
Tillys = West Coast Cool
Tillys carries all our laid-back, casual favorites for a chill night out in our little beach town or cuddling on the couch at home. These casual outfits are bound to be on heavy rotation this holiday season between Thanksgiving travel, visits to Santa, and running last-minute holiday errands!
Pink Hoodie
I love EVERYTHING pink and this North Face hoodie is so dreamy. It's soft and cozy and absolutely screaming my love language. I sized up one size since I'm currently pregnant. Even not pregnant, I prefer my sweatshirts roomy so if you're between sizes I recommend sizing up one size.
Leopard Slip Ons
This is my very first pair of Vans, but I just could not resist the leopard! Neil is obsessed with Vans and has been trying to get me to wear them for forever! They are super super super comfy and so cute!!
Sizing was a little tricky for me to figure out since this is my first pair of Vans. After a little trial and error, this is my recommendation: if you are going to wear socks, they run true to size, but if you're not going to wear socks, size a half size down in these leopard Vans!
Neil's Hoodie
Twinning is winning-even with your spouse! The North Face is known for making such great, super high-quality stuff. Neil loved this warm cozy hoodie just as much as I did, just not in pink! Plus it's cool that this exact sweatshirt is a Tillys exclusive!
Neil's Jeans
These highly-rated and super affordable jeans were a total win for Neil. They're comfortable and have a snug, but true to size fit. He liked them so much that he wore them the next day after our ice cream date!

Like I mentioned above, Neil has been a Vans guy for YEARS! So he was super stoked to get a new pair of Old Skools.
He has a large (size 13!) foot so he has a really hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and come in his size. These are the shoes he probably wears more than anything else and I swear if I let him, he'd wear them to church too ha.
