I picked out this blazer because I love that it is a tweed, but a very classic looking tweed that will stay in style for YEARS. The fit is true to size and absolutely incredible. Blazers are amazing fall layering pieces because they're usually not super duper heavy. So it works here in California where it's just barely starting to cool off but also works in Utah where it has already snowed! When winter actually arrives, you could easily layer this blazer with another coat so it's very, very versatile piece.
Felt Hat On Repeat
Everything just feels more fall-ish with a felt hat. Amiright? I cannot stop wearing or declaring my love for this hat and Brixton hats in general, and apparently 63 other fellow shoppers agree. My most favorite feature of Brixton hats is that they come in SIZES. This is a total game-changer. I was able to get this hat in a medium and avoid the dreaded hat hair!
A Modest Mock Turtleneck
Wearing modest clothing is very on-trend right now and I absolutely LOVE it! This uber girly puff sleeve mock neck was the perfect top to layer under the light tweed blazer. It's just a really cute, really comfortable, “not too basic” basic that also has crazy good reviews! It's well under $100, looks high-end, and could easily be dressed up or down.
5 Star Skinnies
I have had these high waisted skinnies for a while now and I fall more in love with every wear. They just sculpt and fit super duper well and are just really flattering on the legs. They run true to size and are so, so soft. A total denim win! The dark wash is so perfect for fall and could easily pass for business casual when paired with a blazer or sharp, tailored top.
Weather Loving Leather Boot
I have only purchased one other pair of tall boots this fall and they're suede, so I was on the hunt for something more weather friendly. These super highly-rated, knee-high leather boots are the ideal find! I love that I can put a weather protectant on these beauties and wear them without fear. Bring on the rain and the snow! Knee-high or OTK boots + leggings are kind of my unofficial fall uniform.
A Go-to Black Bag
This Givenchy satchel is an investment piece for sure, but it has gotten more than its value in wear and tear over the years! I have put this bag through the ringer and it still looks brand spanking new! This satchel is really big, making it ideal for travel because it fits my laptop, a notebook, my makeup bag and basically the kitchen sink! It's just a very nice, substantial, structured bag well worth your pennies. But if you want the same look for way fewer pennies, I love that you can achieve a similar look with this bag that gets 4/5 stars!
